ELSAN, France’s leading private hospital provider, is launching its corporate alumni platform dedicated to mentoring. A key player in the French healthcare sector, ELSAN is present in all areas of the hospital sector and in every region of France. 28,000 employees and 7,500 doctors work in the group’s 212 establishments and centres, treating more than 4.9 million patients a year.
The Group is taking a new step forward in HR innovation with the launch of its platform dedicated to supporting new facility managers. Every year, almost fifty employees move into these strategic positions. This requires a wide range of skills in management, law, management and business development. To facilitate this transition, ELSAN has set up a structured 100-day mentoring programme. During this period, it connects the new managers with experienced mentors.
A corporate alumni platform focused on mentoring
This system is based on an intuitive platform that provides personalised and structured monitoring of new promotions. The platform focuses exclusively on mentoring and animating the community. It incorporates a mentoring module where the administrative team manages the matchmaking directly, guaranteeing tailor-made support.
The network is also strengthened by the distribution of news and the organisation of internal events. The group offers mentors and mentees a platform for exchanging and sharing best practice. An integrated newsletter system ensures effective, targeted communication. Members will also find a summary of the network’s activities, and have access to all the resources available to them.
A key talent development programme at ELSAN
This project embodies ELSAN’s desire to invest in supporting its talent and structuring the development of its senior managers. By encouraging the sharing of experience and peer support, this initiative not only helps to develop the skills of new managers, but also strengthens the corporate culture and cohesion within the group.
With this platform, ELSAN is demonstrating its commitment to structuring a solid internal network and encouraging the transmission of knowledge. In this way, it is guaranteeing effective, harmonised management across all its establishments.
