What is the EHESS?
The Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) brings together researchers and students from all over the world with the aim of bringing together all social science disciplines to understand societies in their complexity.
An atypical institution that embodies the intellectual project of a permanent dialogue of all human and social sciences. Based on learning through research, its courses are supported by a dense network of researchers and institutions from all over the world, and by deep links with civil society.
The objectives of the alumni network
3 main objectives for Audrey in the management and animation of the EHESS Alumni network:
- Create links between students and alumni: this makes it easier to recruit students and facilitate exchanges to build the professional project of each member
- Professionalise the training: give a concrete dimension to the training and its outlets
- Helping students in their orientation and professional integration: through student portraits to present their theses, or alumni to present their jobs and in a “What next?” format
The AlumnForce Meetings
Attending the AlumnForce Meetings, Audrey particularly appreciated the opportunity to meet her counterparts from the different networks of the community, and especially the diversity of the institutions present, both private and public.
It is also an important time of the year where sharing and meetings allow to discover good practices and to improve in the animation of its community
The Meetings in 3 words: joyful, useful and professional !
