Networking is a key skill for alumni and students. It’s also a question of equal opportunities. Is knowing how to network the preserve of an elite? Not according to Jean Baptiste Morin, career expert and founder of BEHAVE. It’s a skill that can be acquired, provided you give yourself the means to do so!

Teaching about meaning and careers
BEHAVE is the combination of people skills, personality and competencies: BE + HAVE. Knowing how to combine these 2 aspects is the key to developing your networking talent. The fruit of 7 years of iteration, Jean Baptiste offers a learning path that is student-centred and configured for the company.
The hidden job market
The hidden market is the market for job opportunities. The hidden job market exists because vacancies are not officially published for a variety of reasons:
- the vacancy is not clearly defined within the company
- the job opening is currently being budgeted for
- the vacancy is dependent on internal movements
Knowing how to network means knowing how to position yourself for these opportunities. Create privileged relationships in the event that the position becomes available.
” Networking is the art of building relationships of trust between professionals, drawing on each person’s unique personality, with the aim of sharing and/or gathering key information. Then, by mapping this information, everyone can identify or even create opportunities to meet a specific need with the right skills, at the right time. “
Today, 70-80% of job opportunities are in this market.
The training programme
The course consists of 2 modules:
- One is entirely online, leaving learners free to choose their own path. This is the virtual reality part, accessible via all media (mobile phones, tablets, computers, etc.), which develops a scenario around an informal meeting.
- The other takes place face-to-face, using the skills acquired in the previous module. It’s a group workshop where you can share ideas and put them into practice.
